SERVICES (HAIR & MAKEUP CLIENTS): An $100 retainer and signed contract must be secured prior to services being performed by Collectively Chic Boutique and Events. This non-refundable and non-transferable deposit will be put toward the remaining balance. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the contract start date. (PLEASE NOTE: Consultations, travel expenses, gratuity and additional fees are separate costs.)
SERVICES (WEDDING & EVENT CLIENTS): A 50% retainer and signed contract must be secured prior to services being performed by Collectively Chic Boutique and Events. This nonrefundable and non-transferable deposit will be put toward the remaining balance. The second installment of 25% is due 90 days before the contract start date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the contract start date.
CONSULTATIONS: Consultations are recommended for ALL CLIENTS. Hair & Makeup consultations are scheduled 4-6 weeks before the contract start date and up to 18 months before the contract start date for Wedding & Event Clients. (PLEASE NOTE: Additional consultations, ie: bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, etc., must be scheduled on the same day as the bride’s consultation in order to avoid additional travel fees).
APPOINTMENTS: A strict timeline will be enforced to ensure all obligations are met. The session will start at the scheduled start time even if the client(s) is tardy or unprepared. A $25 late fee will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay, or if the schedule exceeds the allotted appointment time. If appointment fees are incurred, payment is due prior to Collectively Chic Boutique and Events’ departure.
AMENDMENTS TO SERVICES: Please review each package prior to selection. Additional services, products and/or materials will be billed directly to the client at cost and mileage ($.80 per mile) if extensive travel is required. Contracted packages cannot be deducted, however, additional services can be added. Add on's and/or additional coverage must be made known at least 2 weeks prior to the contract start date. Any rentals and/or subcontractors contracted on behalf of the client(s) will be paid in full directly to Collectively Chic Boutique and Events.
TRAVEL & ADDITIONAL FEES: Travel within 60 miles (round trip) of Osage Beach, Missouri is included. For locations outside of the limit, $0.80/mile will be charged. In addition, the client(s) is responsible for all incurred fees ie: location access fees, parking, required permits and/or passes, etc. The client(s) agrees to provide a meal when service lasts more than 6 hours. For events that surpass 11pm and/or located 90+ miles away, the client(s) is responsible for meals, overnight accommodation and is subject to additional fees. Hotel accommodations are required to be within a 10 mile radius of the event address in a safe location for all employees.
For all events deemed as destination, all fees will be the clients(s) responsibility ie: round trip airfare, overnight accommodations (Consultant will arrive the day before the event or as early as possible in case of any flight complications and stay overnight the night of the event), meals, transportation, ext. Fees will be discussed pre-travel and arranged by client(s) per specifications of Consultant or arranged by Consultant with agreement of payment.
OVERTIME (WEDDING & EVENT CLIENTS): Additional unplanned and/or un-contracted services (such as, but not limited to, full redo of design, day of event extension of time, services outside of scope of agreement, management of non wedding day activities, etc) are considered overtime and will be billed at $65 per hour.
LIABILITY (HAIR & MAKEUP CLIENTS): Brushes, tools, and products are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported to the stylist prior to application. A sample test may be performed to test reaction (best if done at trial prior to event). Client(s) agree to release Collectively Chic Boutique and Events from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
LIABILITY (WEDDING & EVENT CLIENTS): Collectively Chic Boutique and Events is only liable for services provided by their employees and cannot be held liable for other vendors. It is understood that in no event shall Collectively Chic Boutique and Events be liable for consequential damages of any kind.
RESPONSIBILITY: Collectively Chic Boutique and Events is not responsible for Acts Of God, Natural Disasters, an Act Of Government such as A Declaration of National or Local Emergency, or Other Incidents not within their control, i.e. accident, death in the family, illness, pregnancy, or sudden tragic circumstance. In such a situation, Collectively Chic Boutique and Events will obtain, upon approval, a qualified replacement to fulfill all obligations under the contract, at no additional charge to the client.
CANCELLATION POLICY (HAIR & MAKEUP CLIENTS): To cancel or reschedule an appointment, kindly allow at least 48 hours’ advance notice to avoid cancellation/rescheduling fees. Exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case by case basis.
CANCELLATION POLICY (WEDDING & EVENT CLIENTS): Cancellations must be made at least 30 days before the contract start date or the client will be responsible for paying the full amount agreed upon in this contract. No portion of the fees paid to Collectively Chic Boutique and Events will be returned. If the event is postponed, services can be applied to a new date if available. All services will cease at time of notification of postponement if no determined new date is provided. A payment schedule will be determined and readjusted once Collectively Chic Boutique and Events is notified of the new event date. If the client(s) requires services to resume, post new event date being established, the second payment will be required at time of service restart.
LOSS OR DAMAGE: Client(s) agrees to exercise all due care in caring for, and preserving the property of Collectively Chic Boutique and Events. Clients shall remain responsible for all loss or damage to products, up to and including actual replacement value for each missing or damaged item per cost.
USE OF IMAGES: Unless prior discussed, the Client(s) grants Collectively Chic Boutique and Events unrestricted usage rights and copyrights to use and publish photographs in any manner or medium. (Images may be used on websites, social media and/or in any brochure, flyer, ext.)
PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND METHOD: All balances are due 30 days before the contract start date. Any fees incurred the day of are due before Collectively Chic Boutique and Events’ departs- NO
EXCEPTIONS. The person(s) responsible for payment is the person(s) whose name(s) appear on the contract. For your convenience, payment can be made online via Venmo to @Catherine-Brown-233. Otherwise, payment is to be made by cash or check. If a payment schedule is needed, please contact Collectively Chic Boutique and Events at cbandevents@gmail.com. (PLEASE NOTE: Consultations, travel expenses and additional fees are separate costs).
OVERDUE PAYMENTS: If a payment is overdue, Collectively Chic Boutique and Events may suspend the services until the outstanding payment is received.
GOVERNING LAW: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Jurisdiction of the State of Missouri. The Parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Jurisdiction. No Party may object to the jurisdiction of any of those courts on the ground that it is an inconvenient forum or that it does not have jurisdiction. If legal action is necessary to enforce the terms of this contract the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney fees in addition to any other remedies to which that party might be legally entitled.
